Home Exteriors Energy Consultants is a family-owned home exteriors company based in Leesburg, Virginia, helping Northern Virginia homeowners make their homes more beautiful, more comfortable and more energy efficient.
Since 2007
It started with a simple idea
Mark Horner founded the company in 2007 on a simple idea: homeowners deserve high-quality, energy-efficient windows, doors, siding and roofing without high-pressure sales tactics or inflated prices.
Today we are a father-and-son operation. Mark still meets with every homeowner personally, so when you work with us you deal directly with the owner from your first estimate to the final walkthrough. There are no call centers and no handoffs.

Mark founded the company in 2007 and personally runs every consultation and estimate. He values local, in-person relationships and honest, no-pressure service.

Hadley Horner, Operations and Customer Experience
Hadley handles operations, customer service, scheduling and production, and visits homeowners after the job is done to make sure everything is exactly right.

Our installers are certified directly by ProVia, and we have worked with the same experienced crews for more than a decade.

Windows and doors are the heart of what we do
As a Certified ProVia Dealer, we offer ProVia's full lineup of energy-efficient replacement windows, including the Endure, Aeris, Aspect and EcoLite series, in every style from double-hung and casement windows to bay, bow, picture, garden and custom architectural shapes.
We also install ProVia entry doors, patio and sliding glass doors, French doors and storm doors, built with insulated cores, Low-E glass and multi-point locks. On top of windows and doors, we install siding and roofing, so one trusted team can handle the whole exterior of your home.
